Emergency Aid Program for Families Affected by Hurricane Helene
In response to the severe damage caused by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, Give 4 Good (G4G) is launching a relief program to provide direct financial support to families who have suffered the most. Our goal is to help those whose homes have been destroyed by the hurricane and offer immediate assistance. The total relief budget is $40,000.
Relief Program Details:

$1,000 in aid will be provided to 40 families—each from the hardest-hit areas of North Carolina, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligible families must be from one of the following areas:
1. Buncombe County (including Asheville)
2. Yancey County (Burnsville)
3. Mitchell County (Spruce Pine)
4. Henderson County (Hendersonville)
Eligibility Requirements:

Proof of a collapsed or severely-damaged home due to Hurricane Helene.

Residency verification in the affected area.
Required Documents:

Photos of the damaged property and surrounding areas.

Proof of residency, such as a utility bill.

Head of household’s photo, a brief description of their situation, and bank account details for direct deposit.
Distribution:

Funds will be deposited directly into the verified bank accounts of selected families.

Aid will be released within 5-7 days after document approval.
Application Deadline:
The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2024.
However, if all available spots have been filled before this date, the program will be stopped immediately.
